Kashmir Day is also known as Kashmir Solidarity Day and is celebrated on the 5th of February. This annual national holiday is observed not only in Azad Kashmir but throughout Pakistan.

India’s claims are opposed by Pakistan, which administers approximately 37% of Kashmir, namely Azad Kashmir and the Northern Areas.
