Ismail Gulgee was born on October 25, 1926 in Peshawar. Jamil Naqsh was born in 1939, in Kairana, India. Naqsh’s signature style is to paint women and pigeons, and amalgamations of both. He has designed a few pieces of Islamic calligraphy, which reflect how he is not only a modern expressionist but also a traditional miniaturist.

4. Sadequain

Sadequain was born in 1930, in Amroha, and is considered as the finest calligrapher of Pakistan. Sadequain harnessed the beauty of powerful symbolism and allegorical gestures in his paintings, creating a diverse series of masterpieces. Sadequain passed away in 1987, and is regarded as an iconic artist of the 20^th century.

5. Abdur Rahman Chugtai

Abdur Rahman Chughtai (1897–1975) is the national artist of Pakistan, and is an icon of the 20^th century. His creationsinfused with the essence of Islamic and Mughal art, while maintaining the elegance of Art Noveau. Chughtai is renowned for his painting of Anarkali, and designing the logos of Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan.

Interested in music since he could talk shafqat Amanat ali was successfully able to pursue the career of his dreams, first as part of the Pakistani rock band Fuzon and then as a soloist.Fuzon merged Pakistani classical and modern rock to create a new genre.Following his departure from Fuzon, he began solo performances and won the president’s Pride of Performance award on Independence day 2007.His most famous works are “AnkhonkeSagar” and “Mitwa”.

Ali Azmat is a Pakistani singer-songwriter.In the early part of his music career he struggled and performed at most at small gigs in Lahore. Once he joined the Sufi rock band Junoon the band gained fame over the span of a few years and became quite influential. The band’s most famous their debut album “Junoon” and “Inqilaab”(Revolution).Their most famous song is Jazba-e-Junoon which is one of the nations most loved songs and the signature song of the Cricket world Cup.Following these successes Azmat is the first musician to perform his single “dosti” at the UN assembly to aid the UN Mission of World Peace in 2001.
