ICI Dulux’s innovative Visualizer app packed with new features

ICI Dulux recently launched the new version of its Visualizer app for iOS and Android. The pioneering app uses innovative technology to help consumers see, share and paint in their chosen colours in real time.

Consumers can capture a video of their walls and experiment with hundreds of different colours. If they see a colour somewhere that inspires them, they can use the ingenious Colour Picker technology to instantly match and try it out.

Once they have found the colour they love consumers can buy their paint or find a store via the store locator function. Finally, they can share it with friends and family on social media to get a second opinion, directly through the Visualizer.

The award-winning app uses cutting-edge technology (augmented reality and video visualization) to show colours in a room in real time. It was first launched in May 2014 and has been downloaded over 10 million times.

“Colour is the number one decision factor when consumers choose paint,” said Usman Hafaz, Marketing Manager at AkzoNobel Pakistan Decorative Paints Division. “Selecting the right colour can be an exciting yet overwhelming challenge. The new features in the Visualizer now make this a fun, easy way to find the essential colour to make their living space more inspiring, and make the process more social at the same time.”

Research shows that 30 percent of consumers struggle to visualize what a colour will look like in their home, and 39 percent discuss colour schemes with friends and family before making a purchase. The new features in the Visualizer build on these trends. This makes it one of the company’s most successful colour tools, helping consumers become experts in choosing the right colour for them.

“We are constantly looking out to understand our consumer behavior and any emerging trends, innovations and technologies to help us stay ahead of the curve,” explained Usman Hafaz. “This helps us deliver products and colours that people want. The Visualizer is a tool designed to give consumers confidence to try new colours, quickly see the potential end result of their purchase, and share with friends to get their views.”

The app is marketed through the company’s decorative paints brand ICI Dulux.

You might not get a better chance to find out if your Mr Right is actually the ‘Right One’ for you!
Here are all the reasons compiled by Jovago Pakistan, why you should plan your trip with your potential better half!
  1. Just like a relationship, no travel is a perfect travel
No matter how long ahead you plan for your travel, you might face the highs and lows during your voyage. 1. Best way to check his spending habits
Budget your travel with your significant half and you would know how he manages his expenses. After all, you don’t want to get stuck in a relationship that is always struggling with money related issues or quarreling upon divergent spending patterns.
  1. Determining your personal space
The lovey dovey cuddling dwells well in imagination. However, in real life one might appreciate having their own personal space to enjoy their own independence. During your travel, you might encounter situations where you would enjoy isolation and self contemplation more than clinging together with your partner. This might be a very good time to judge if he allows and respects your personal space when you ask for it.
  1. You can’t escape face to face communication
Unlike communicating via gadgets, your travel would allow you to get in touch with your partner face to face on varying occasions. You might be surprised to see how different the same person can be while talking online versus communicating directly. After all, you would want your relationship to survive in real life no matter how good it might be dwelling virtually.

Male travel Versus Female Travel

Have you ever wondered why ‘all boys travel’ and ‘girls day out’ are getting so popular these days? Undeniably, things go so smoothly and hassle free when you get to travel with your own gender mates. The differences in habits are hard to ignore when it comes to travelling. Right from the motivation behind the travel to how your travel is planned and executed, the differences in both these genders are hardly arguable.
HOTEL BOOKING PLATFORM JOVAGO EXPANDS FROM PAKISTAN TO MYANMAR AND BANGLADESH
Check out how varying travel preferences are of a male versus a female in the list below compiled by Jovago Pakistan.
Motivation behind the travel
Women tend to travel for more personal reasons than men. They often prefer some lone retreats while on voyage to allow themselves some self contemplation and self exploration. However, men on the other hand, are more adventure lovers and it is most often the thrill of travelling that makes them be ‘on the go’.
The primary concern while travelling
A research found out that women are more concerned about packing when it comes to preparing for travel as opposed to males, whose primary concern is to make a hotel booking to ensure a comfortable stay while on the voyage.
Group travel versus solo travel
Be it due to security concerns or some other reasons, females usually prefer to travel in small groups as opposed to men who prefer solo travel. It is generally observed that men like to make their travel more independent as opposed to female,s who enjoy having a support system of a group during the voyage.
Spending patterns
There is no escaping from shedding money on shopping when it comes to travelling. However, it is generally observed that women like to spend more on clothes and duty free items while travelling, as opposed to men who like to spend more on foods and drinks instead.
